Once in a while a couple comes along and just makes you smile from ear to ear. Nancy has this amazingly infectious laugh and Rajiv is one of the nicest guys you’ll ever meet. This video or what we say here doesn’t do justice for the affection these two have for one another.
Their wedding was an awesome mix of Vietnamese and Indian cultures with a Vietnamese ceremony in the morning followed by a Hindu ceremony and finished off with a traditional ceremony. Yes! That’s 3 ceremonies in one day!
Nancy and Rajiv, we can’t thank you enough for letting us be a part of your special day.
This video is dedicated to Bruno who sadly couldn’t make it but was always there in spirit!!
We shot this video at the Star Ranch in Corona, California.
This venue had everything! In the Pueblo de Mexico, there was a jailhouse, run down saloon, abandon hotel, an old church and 52 horses. We had a blast filming and editing this video and could not be more excited to show Shauna and Kevin once it was completed. They made our job so much fun with their easy going attitudes.
Shauna and Kevin run their own real estate business at Tristone Reality Group in Orange County. And like many down to earth people, they are not actors or models, but you would not be able to tell by simply watching their Engagement Music Video.
This shoot was so much fun that we even manage to put away some whiskey during the shot. For our lunch break, we got to introduce Shauna and Kevin to some Vietnamese Sandwiches from Lee’s Sandwiches.
We did run into a challenge trying to figure out how we were going to show the video at the outdoors reception pavilion. There was a chance that winds would blow down our portable projection screen, so we came up with a solution to make a DIY windproof projection screen that worked like a charm.
Chau and Kevin love to have fun, and it shows in their personalities!
Kevin invited Josh and I to his hotel room to join his party of groomsmen the night before the wedding so we decided film the event and include it their Same Day Edit!
Thanks Chau and Kevin for letting us participate in all the fun all day! Also thanks to Joe Vu for helping out. We couldn’t do it without you!
Josh and I hope you enjoy this Same Day Edit film as much as we enjoyed coming up with the ideas and shooting it.
Blessed. That’s how I would describe our experience with Kasey and Connor. We are blessed to have a couple who believe in the art of wedding cinematography and the passion we have to improve our craft. Blessed that they allowed us into their lives as friends and not just some business transaction. Blessed that their friends and family became our friends who we speak with on a fairly regular basis.
This wedding highlight trailer is an emotional piece that reflects how much two people really care for one another. Kasey and Connor, we wish you the best and we thank you for sharing your event with us.
Cloudy with a chance of rain…a lot of rain. The morning started out with a light drizzle and by the middle of the day it started pouring. Despite the rain it didn’t dampened Christy or David’s spirits. Everything came together beautifully and without a hitch. If the ceremony was the calm before the storm then the reception was definitely the storm. These two knew how to party and a crazy party it was! We have never witnessed a more rowdy group of family and friends!
We had the opportunity to show the Same Day Edit (SDE) at 6:30pm. It was a way to liven up the crowd before the bridal party entered the reception hall, although the crowd was already quite alive.
Congratulations Christy and David and thank you for allowing Alumiq to be a part of your day.
John called me up one day and asked me if I could help him out by secretly taking photographs while he proposed to Amy. As family I said why not. Flash forward two years later John called me up and asked if I could film his wedding this time around. How could I say no? Then he asked me if we could make an engagement video. Before he could finish I was already on board.
John and Amy are an amazingly fun couple and have been involved in the production of this video almost every step of the way. Needless to say this production is as much personal to them as it is to us.
Note: Just wanted to give credit where it’s due. Some of the editing elements were largely influenced/inspired by the insanely talented folks at StillMotion.
